NGA KAKANO FOUNDATION

Nga Kakano Foundation is the biggest provider of smoking cessation services to Māori and Pacific peoples. It owns and operates a GP service in Te Puke and is aligned with the Western Bay PHO. All services are underpinned by the kaupapa of achieving oranga whanau, oranga tangata, oranga iwi whanui – healthy families, healthy individuals, healthy communities through an integrated and collaborative services approach that seeks to improve their health outcomes by providing accessible treatment for them.
