NGATI TAHU - NGATI WHAOA RUNANGA TRUST

The Ngati Tahu-Ngati Whaoa Runanga Trust has a contract to deliver Early Intervention Health Services for Kuia and Koroua in the areas of educational awareness and facilitation around asthma, diabetes, nutrition, as well as breast and cervical screening. The Trust runs its Kuia and Koroua programmes at two sites, Waiotapu (where it is based) and  Reporoa. Over twenty people attend the Trust’s weekly cultural revitalisation programme that is now into its second year. The Trust also offers a two part series of Korowai wananga.
