The 2010 Poutiri Provider Awards were presented in the Pohutu Theatre, in the Heritage Hotel on 5 November, in Rotorua. MC Kingi Biddle once again hosted an unforgettable event on behalf of Poutiri Trust, his empathy and humour carrying the audience through the presentation of certificates to all affiliated health organisations and then onto the special awards.

The guest speaker was renown health leader, Lynette Stewart, most recently CEO (14 years) at Te Tai Tokerau Māori Co-Purchasing Organisation (MAPO) where, under her guidance, the northern health providers developed into a collaborative, enterprising and innovative Māori Provider Alliance.
